The Gretsch 8" x 14" Full Range Hammered Steel Snare Drum puts out a bright, focused attack that is slightly drier than many other steel snares because of the 1.2mm steel shell and its larger-than-usual hammering pattern.
This drum is equipped with some premium hardware without the premium price, including an adjustable throw-off, black nylon tension rod washers, black nylon snare straps, and Remo heads.
At a massive 8" deep, this drum is particularly suited for low tunings and creating a lot of power at medium tunings.
