The evolution of a .strandberg* benchmark 7-string guitar

This 4th generation Singularity was created in an effort between .strandberg* Guitars and esteemed progressive player Per Nilsson to create a guitar that is more accessible than its predecessors while preserving the tone and feel that made them special. The solid Basswood body with Swamp Ash top, the slightly rounded Roasted Maple EndurNeck with Titanium reinforcements, and the sleek Ebonol fretboard gives a focused and clear tone with vigorous overtones and rigid stability needed to handle vibrant clean sounds as well as heavily saturated distortion with authority. The Swedish-made Lundgren Per Nilsson Anomaly signature pickups offer far greater tonal and dynamic diversity than most 7-string pickups by their use of responsive Alnico 5 magnets and a less powerful wind that allows the nuances of the player’s expression to come through unmasked and without excessive compression.

LUNDGREN ANOMALY PICKUPS

These medium-power Alnico 5-equipped humbuckers are designed to capture the natural character of the guitar without excessive coloration, and with a full dynamic range. Distorted sounds are clear and tight, and clean sounds have sparkle and body. 

TITANIUM REINFORCED NECK

The Singularity features an enhanced EndurNeck™ design by means of two Titanium reinforcement rods, which make for the strongest .strandberg* neck ever with increased stability, durability, and a livelier acoustic resonance. 

BASSWOOD BODY WITH A SWAMP ASH TOP

This combination of tonewoods is a tried-and-true recipe for clarity, focus, and depth. The Basswood adds a lower midrange punch that gives body and authority even to the highest notes, and the Swamp Ash top adds attack and responsiveness for a perfect sonic match.
