Roasted 1-Piece EndurNeck 

The Essential necks are constructed from a single piece of strong and durable Roasted Maple, in contrast to the multi-laminated necks of their more exclusive siblings. This traditional design creates a stable and comfortable neck that is also more cost-effective to manufacture without sacrificing the ergonomic benefits of the EndurNeck profile.

EGS ARC Hardware 

The EGS ARC hardware is a proprietary .strandberg* design, and the first generation EGS hardware to feature a single-piece zinc bridge baseplate. The base is curved for perfect string height alignment with the fretboard radius and a robust vibration transfer to the body, while all moving parts have been carefully designed for strength, easy setup work, and easy maintenance.  

Solid light-weight body 

A .strandberg* guitar is always light, resonant, and comfortable, but there are different ways to accomplish this that influence the sonic properties and manufacturing complexity. The solid Meranti bodies of the Essential series instruments are lightweight and strong, with a focused tone that’s strong in the midrange, while also being a material that is sustainably grown.
