With the innovative VersaPattern technology, you get continuously variable polar pattern selection between cardioid, subcardioid, omnidirectional, hypercardioid, and figure-8.
The GN18VP delivers a smooth, wide frequency response. The balanced transformerless output ensures very low-noise performance. The gooseneck is flexible and well lubricated, ensuring silent movements of the neck during operation. Strong positional memory ensures your neck stays put without restricting movement. The output of the mic is over a fixed 3-pin XLR cable. The Astatic GN18VP includes a foam windscreen.
Silent and Reliable Gooseneck Design
The GN18VP includes a solid center section with flexible goosenecks at the top and bottom. The top gooseneck is 1/4" in diameter and the bottom gooseneck is 0.6" in diameter. The goosenecks are well lubricated and silent in operation while maintaining strong positional memory. The overall length is 18.75". The durable matte-black, non-reflective paint assures an unobtrusive installation.
